Marching competitions 2005 results:
Greenhill - October 8th
Results: DM - I, CG - I, Percussion - I, Band I, I, I, Overall I. Band was 2nd in class and Color Guard was Best in Class!
Winfield - October 22
Results: DM - I, FT - I, CG - I, Percussion - I, Band - I, I, I for an overall I. Feature Twirler Whitney Roberson, Color Guard, Percussion, and Band were Best in Class AND Best Overall! It doesn't get much better than this.
Gordo - November 5
Results: DM-I, FT-I, CG-I, Percussion-I, Band - I,I,I, for an Overall I. Feature Twirler, Color Guard, Percussion and Band were all Best in Class.
Congratulations to the Marching Band on a GREAT season!!!!!!
The A Winterguard was 6th in the Exit 25 Division and 11th overall at the SCGC Championships in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The B Winterguard was 11th in division and 19th overall. Congratulations to both of these groups on an outstanding run.
The PCHS Concert Band received an overall Superior rating at the Alabama State Concert Band Festival at Huntsville High School on March 17th.
The PCHS A Winterguard took 3rd place in the novice division at the Smyrna Winterfest in March.
The PCHS Concert Band received all superior ratings on Feb. 17th at the District III Concert Band Festival at UNA and was recommended to attend State Concert Festival.
The PCHS A and B Winterguards took 1st and 3rd place respectively in the novice class on February 12th at the Clarksville, TN winterguard competition . Outstanding job!

Congratulations to everyone who tried out.
The PCHS Band finished up marching season with a clean sweep at the West Alabama Marching Competition at Gordo, Alabama on November 6. Drum Major, Feature Twirler, Color Guard, Percussion and Band received all superior ratings, Drum Major, Color Guard, Percussion and Band were Best in Class AND Best Overall in their Division of three classes and 20 bands. Additionally, the band took home the Mayor's Award for the highest General Effect for the second year in a row. It doesn't get any better than this! Every trophy they could possibly win went home to Phil Campbell. A crowning achievement to an outstanding year.
The First Annual Bobcat Classic was a resounding success. Thanks to all of the participating bands and everyone who volunteered to help.
